Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.Wage/Salary Range: $20.00 - $35.00Applicants will be notified via phone or email within ten (10) business days of submittal.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesGenerator MaintenanceGeneral maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skills and knowledge in such trades as:PaintingCarpentryPlumbingMasonryElectrical WorkChanging filters and belts in Air HandlersReplacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, lightsUse plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.Performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.Required (Minimum Necessary) QualificationsEducation Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalentLevel of Experience Requirements: Two (5) years' experience as a general maintenance worker or similarValid Driver's LicenseKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other CharacteristicsBasic knowledge of general maintenance (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, etc)Basic knowledge of troubleshootingGood customer service, people skillsPreferredFive Years Experience General MaintenanceDOD Contract ExperienceSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position will not have supervisory responsibilities.DOT Covered/Safety-Sensitive Role RequirementsThis position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation "safety-sensitive" functions.Necessary Physical RequirementsThis position requires working outdoors and driving in extreme heat/cold and possibly raining weather. Lifting and/or moving items weighing 50-75 pounds are required.
