Outage Coordinator

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Outage Coordinator to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of major maintenance outages at a Combined Cycle Power Plant . This individual will be responsible for managing all outage activities related to gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs (Heat Recovery Steam Generators), and balance-of-plant equipment, ensuring outages are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power generation maintenance, outage planning, contractor coordination, and scheduling using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools.

Key Responsibilitie

• sDevelop and maintain detailed outage schedules utilizing Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent scheduling software
• .Coordinate outage planning activities between Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and Contractors
• .Lead outage planning and execution meetings with internal stakeholders and external vendors
• .Manage contractor and craft labor resources throughout outage execution
• .Monitor and track critical path activities to ensure schedule adherence
• .Coordinate procurement and delivery of outage materials, tools, and equipment
• .Oversee outage work packages, permitting requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and safety compliance
• .Track outage budgets, costs, and progress reporting
• .Drive outage execution activities and facilitate rapid issue resolution
• .Conduct outage closeout reviews and document lessons learned for future improvements
• .Ensure all outage activities are performed in accordance with plant, regulatory, and safety requirements
• .Serve as the primary point of contact between plant personnel, contractors, vendors, and engineering teams during outages
