In this role, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' history with substance abuse and mental health, creating a baseline for personalized treatment approaches.

• Formulate individualized treatment plans that not only tackle addiction issues but also consider co-occurring mental health disorders.

• Facilitate engaging group and individual therapy sessions using evidence-based practices like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI).

• Work collaboratively with a diverse treatment team, including medical professionals, case managers, and peer support specialists to provide a cohesive care experience.

• Offer guidance and education to clients' families, involving them in the therapeutic process to bolster the recovery environment.

• Maintain meticulous records that are compliant with professional and regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality and ethical care.

To qualify for this position, you must:

• Possess a valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Hold a master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.

• Exhibit specialized training or substantial experience in the field of addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrate a robust understanding of evidence-based practices, especially for co-occurring disorders.

• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport and motivate clients effectively throughout their recovery process.

• Display apt communication skills for fostering effective collaboration within the treatment team and engaging with clients and their families.

We prefer candidates who have:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a substance abuse or mental health treatment setting.
