Criminal Defense Attorney

Job Description Associate Attorney Needed! Our busy, Mesa based law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to become a part of our criminal defense team. The firm practices Criminal Defense, DUI, Felony, Misdemeanor, and TRO. You will work alongside a large team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants, representing clients in legal proceedings, drawing up legal documents, attending court hearings, and advising clients on legal transactions. We primarily practice in Maricopa and Pinal counties, so travel requirements will be far less than those of a traditional Arizona criminal defense attorney. Responsibilities Represent clients in court or before government agencies. Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients. Advise clients on business and legal transactions. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes. Comply with all legal standards and regulations. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law. Qualifications Enjoy working with a team as a team player. Previous experience is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with various legal documents. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
