This contract position is located onsite near Polvadera, NM, providing the chance to collaborate closely with dedicated school staff and positively impact young learners.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Previous experience with elementary school students preferred
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Dedication to fostering student independence and success in the classroom

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skills within the school environment
• Design and execute effective treatment interventions tailored to each child’s needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to set meaningful goals and track progress
• Maintain timely records and document therapy sessions in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to help shape student support plans
• Provide consultative support and training to staff to foster inclusive learning environments
