New Home Consultant

Position Summary The New Home Consultant’s primary focus is to administer and coordinate the new home purchase process and close of escrow with the ultimate goal of creating “tickled, delighted and happy” customers. In this role, you will sell, process, and close homes in accordance with company business plans, adhering to the company’s selling philosophy while serving home buyers and realtor customers. Responsibilities Sell, process, and close new homes in accordance with company business plans and selling philosophy. Provide timely & consistent follow-through with customers from initial contact through after-closing. Travel throughout the local community to self-generate sales from realtor/co-broker businesses, referrals, and self-prospecting. Develop in-depth knowledge of the competitive marketplace (product, site, local community, sales, advertising, demographics). Monitor and record daily customer traffic using company-designated tracking tools. Participate in homeowner orientation(s) required by the division and, where appropriate, work with customers on builder-option purchases. Qualifications High school diploma or GED (some college preferred). 1+ years of recent face-to-face sales and customer service experience. Experience in new home sales or commission-based real estate is a plus. Valid driver’s license and insurance coverage with a good driving record. Available to work weekends and holidays. Ability to prepare written documentation and complete contract calculations. Computer literacy; proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel. Working knowledge of new technology such as iPads.
