Litigation Legal Secretary

Our client, a well-established full-service law firm with offices across Louisiana and Texas, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary for its New Orleans office. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with court filings, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• :Draft, proofread, and format legal correspondence, pleadings, memoranda, and engagement letter
• sAssist attorneys with preparation and organization of court filings, discovery, and litigation material
• sHandle e-filing in state and federal courts and agencie
• sMaintain and organize electronic case files and legal documents within NetDoc
• sOpen new client matters and assist with conflict check
• sManage attorney calendars, deadlines, and client contact
• sCoordinate travel arrangements, meetings, conference calls, and video conference
• sPrepare presentation and meeting materials as neede
• dProvide additional administrative and litigation support as assigne

Qualification

• s:Minimum 3 years of litigation legal secretary experien
• ceStrong proofreading, organization, and multitasking skil
• lsExperience with state and federal court filing procedur
• esProficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Exc
• elExperience using document management systems such as NetDocs preferr
• edComfortable with remote collaboration platforms including Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, and Skype for Busine
