Trial Attorney

Eligibility Requirements J.D. degree and at least three years of post‑J.D. experience. Active membership in any state bar. Superior academic credentials. Excellent analytical and writing skills. Capacity to work independently in a very demanding environment. Ability to meet JMD and NSD suitability criteria. Ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance. Successful completion of a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodic screening thereafter. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for employment with the National Security Division. Responsibilities Commit to a three‑year term with the National Security Division. Volunteer for department‑wide initiatives, special projects, division initiatives, and perform other duties as assigned. Report in person for duty in an emergency, regardless of holidays, weekends, nights, or weather conditions. Perform most, if not all, essential job functions within a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). Employment Conditions This position is MISSION ESSENTIAL.
