About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting to lead the end-to-end financial close cycle, ensuring the production and review of financial packages in compliance with U.S. GAAP standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining internal reporting guidelines, contributing to the design of accounting frameworks, and handling consolidation efforts. This role also involves acting as the main point of contact for external audit teams, managing the execution of audits, and partnering with tax professionals for compliance. The VP of Accounting will play a key role in treasury management, digital asset oversight, and operational efficiency, including team buildout and process optimization. Applicants must have a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, with 7-15 years' experience in accounting or finance, and a background in a Big 4 or similar public accounting environment. Exposure to asset management, hedge funds, broker-dealers, treasury, or digital asset environments is preferred. The role requires a solid command of U.S. GAAP, experience in leading audit processes, and advanced proficiency in Excel and emerging tools. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, and be adept at driving strategic initiatives, particularly in the context of M&A, capital raises, and business expansion.
