Charge Description Master Specialist

As a key member of the Revenue Integrity Chargemaster team, the full-time remote Charge Description Master Specialist will ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations, manage Chargemaster maintenance requests, and provide training to hospital staff on charge capture processes. Key responsibilities Ensure the Chargemaster is consistent with all coding and billing regulations and accurately reflects services provided Act as a liaison between the Hospital ministry and the Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster Department, addressing inquiries and coordinating workflows Document policies and procedures regarding Chargemaster maintenance and review clinical department charges for compliance Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent education/experience 3 years of hospital chargemaster experience, including familiarity with CDM Maintenance software and billing requirements Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD10 coding principles 2 years of experience working with EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably EPIC Driving may be necessary; proof of driver license and auto insurance required upon request
