At Essity: This Is What We DoAbout the RoleEssity North America is seeking a Learning & Leadership Specialist to support the execution of our learning and leadership strategy across the organization. Reporting to the Learning & Leadership Manager, this role partners closely with HR, business leaders, employees, and global Learning & Leadership colleagues to deliver impactful learning experiences and development initiatives.The Learning & Leadership Specialist will facilitate workshops, coordinate leadership development programs, manage projects, support learning operations, and help create an engaging learner experience. Success in this role requires a proactive, hands-on approach, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to turn ideas into action while navigating changing priorities.The ideal candidate should live in the Philadelphia, PA metro area, as this is a hybrid role.What You Will DoFacilitate Learning ExperiencesFacilitate instructor-led workshops, leadership development programs, onboarding experiences, and virtual learning events for employees and managers across North America.Create engaging and inclusive learning environmentsBuild familiarity with Essity's Learning & Leadership portfolio and continuously enhance the learner experience through effective facilitation and delivery.Support Leadership & Learning ProgramsCoordinate program logistics, communications, scheduling, enrollment management, materials preparation, and participant support.Assist in identifying learning and development needs and supporting solutions that align with organizational objectives.Support the successful implementation and adoption of global and regional learning initiatives, tools, and programs.Manage Projects & Drive ExecutionLead and support assigned learning and leadership projectsCoordinate activities across multiple stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of initiatives and programs.Track milestones, manage timelines, and proactively drive progress.Build Relationships & CollaboratePartner with HR, business leaders, employees, facilitators, vendors, and global colleagues to support learning and leadership initiatives.Serve as a trusted resource for learning-related questions, program support, and stakeholder coordination.Build strong partnerships across functions to promote a culture of continuous learning and development.Support Learning OperationsSupport administration of learning technologies, systems, reporting processes, and learning records.Monitor compliance training activities and partner with stakeholders to address completion gaps.Assist with vendor coordination, invoice processing, and training administration activities.Who You AreRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Psychology, Business, Communications, or a related field.2-5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Human Resources, Education, Facilitation, Organizational Development, or a related field.Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, presentations, or group discussions in virtual and in-person environments.Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.Experience using Microsoft Office applications and virtual collaboration tools.Ability to travel up to 75%.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting leadership development programs.Familiarity with leadership development, coaching, feedback, change management, team effectiveness, and employee development concepts.Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed organization.​Success in This RoleThe ideal candidate is:A self-starter who takes initiative and follows through on commitments.A strong facilitator who can confidently engage a variety of audiences.A curious learner who seeks to understand the business and continuously develop new skills.Comfortable navigating ambiguity and identifying practical solutions when direction is not always clear.Highly collaborative and able to build strong relationships across functions and levels of the organization.Creative and willing to challenge the status quo to improve learning experiences and processes.Organized, proactive, and capable of balancing multiple priorities.Positive, adaptable, and energized by helping others learn and grow.A doer who moves ideas into action and consistently delivers results.Why This Role MattersThis role is a critical member of the North America Learning & Leadership team, helping to deliver leadership development programs, support organizational change initiatives, strengthen employee capability, and drive adoption of key talent and learning priorities.
