Job Description Job Title: Principal AI Solutions Architect – Location: Charlotte, NC (Preferred) – Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 remote). Contract Length: 6–9 months (possible extension). Pay Rate: $69/hr–$74/hr. Note: We are not able to consider C2C or third-party submissions. Role Overview In this role, you will consult on complex initiatives involving large‑scale planning for Systems Architecture. You will analyze intricate challenges related to AI architecture and contribute to the development of scalable, governed GenAI and agent‑based solutions. This position focuses on advancing enterprise AI capabilities by designing agent‑to‑agent workflows, defining reusable architecture patterns, and supporting AI adoption aligned with responsible AI and governance standards. Key Responsibilities Design and define AI architecture patterns, including agentic workflows and agent‑to‑agent protocols. Develop prompt engineering standards and evaluate prompt effectiveness for reliability and usability. Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate use cases into scalable AI solutions. Design orchestration patterns and reusable components for enterprise AI adoption. Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend best‑fit solutions. Support governance frameworks including responsible AI, compliance, and risk management practices. Document architecture standards, reusable patterns, and design approaches. Partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver AI‑enabled business solutions. Contribute to the development of AI adoption strategies, value tracking, and operational frameworks. Required Qualifications 5+ years of Systems Architecture experience or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education. Experience with AI architecture, agentic AI design patterns, and agent‑to‑agent protocol concepts; strong prompt engineering and evaluation expertise; experience designing AI workflows, orchestration patterns, and scalable GenAI solutions. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Copilot Studio, Azure AI, OpenAI, LangChain, or Semantic Kernel. Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
