The duties include:
- Performing functions such as formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities.
- Reviewing and evaluating budget requests; controlling, and reporting of obligations and expenditures.
- Being assigned a variety of other fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties and responsibilities.
- Analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of an organization's programs and administrative operations.
- Implementing legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets.
- Providing advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support an organization's programs and activities.
