This is a high growth, high visibility area with plenty of opportunities to enhance your skillset and build your career.Your key responsibilitiesOur Data Senior Analyst will support a federal program in supporting the design, implementation and enhancement of advanced analytics and AI-enabled solutions that improved the organization’s ability to analyze operational, audit and investigative data.You will identify and implement practical AI use cases that improve analyst productivity and decision-making. Develop and evaluate generative AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics capabilities aligned with mission needs. Additionally, you’ll assist in the design of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge management, and semantic search solutions. Explore opportunities to leverage Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI capabilities. You will use data analytics and reporting perform data exploration, trend analysis, anomaly detection, and operational analytics; Translate complex data into actionable business insights for leadership and stakeholders. Support audit, compliance, and performance measurement activities through advanced analytics.Skills and attributes for success· Strong data analytics expertise with emerging AI capabilities · Understanding of generative AI models (openAI, Anthropic, open-source LLMs) into web-based products· Experience implementing practical AI use cases that improve analyst productivity and decision-making· Experience writing tests, participating in code reviews· Seeking out information to learn about emerging methodologies and technologies· Clarifying problems by driving to understand the true issue· Looking for opportunities for improving methods and outcomes· Collaborating, influencing, and building consensus through constructive relationships and effective listening· Solving problems by incorporating data into decision makingTo qualify for the role, you must have· Bachelor's degree· Top Secret clearance· 3-5+ years of related experienceIdeally, you’ll also have· Bachelor’s Degree or above in mathematics, information systems, statistics, computer science, or related disciplines· Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate) and AI inference optimizations· Experience with open-source AI and web projects· Experience with RAG or fine-tuning models· Communication is essential, must be able to listen and understand the question and develop and deliver clear insightsDue to the nature of our work in the Government and Public Sector, work may be required to be completed at client, EY and/or contractor sites. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs. The base salary range for this job is: New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices – $128,400 to $192,500Bay Area California offices – $133,600 to $200,600All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento – $106,900 to $176,500 Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
