Job Description Job Description Senior Clinical Supervisor (LPCC-S or LISW-S) Pathway to Chief Clinical Supervisor – 90 Day Performance Track Potter House Recovery – Cincinnati, Ohio ⸻ Position Overview Potter House Recovery is seeking a licensed LPCC-S or LISW-S to serve as a Senior Clinical Supervisor within our growing behavioral health organization. This individual will provide clinical leadership, supervision, compliance oversight, and strategic development support across PHP, IOP, OP, and our expanding service lines. This role includes a structured 90-day performance evaluation period, with a defined pathway to promotion into the Chief Clinical Supervisor position based on demonstrated leadership, accountability, and measurable organizational impact. In addition to oversight of current programming, this leader will play a critical role in the development and clinical structuring of a new Residential Treatment Program. We are a mission-driven, growth-oriented organization committed to clinical excellence, compliance integrity, and long-term sustainability. ⸻ Required Credentials • Active Ohio LPCC-S or LISW-S • In good standing with the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board • Minimum 3–5 years clinical experience • Supervisory experience preferred • Experience in residential, PHP, or higher levels of care strongly preferred • Strong understanding of Ohio Medicaid, managed care, and medical necessity standards ⸻ Core Responsibilities Clinical Leadership • Provide supervision to clinicians seeking licensure hours • Review and sign off on assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation • Ensure medical necessity standards are met across all levels of care (PHP, IOP, OP, and Residential) • Maintain documentation compliance within 24 hours • Lead case consultations and staffing meetings Quality & Compliance Oversight • Conduct routine internal chart audits • Develop and maintain clinical protocols and policies • Support utilization management processes • Ensure audit readiness for Medicaid, managed care, and accreditation bodies • Strengthen documentation to protect organizational revenue and payer relationships Residential Program Development • Assist in the clinical design and structure of the Residential Treatment Program • Develop residential treatment schedules, clinical workflows, and staffing models • Help establish documentation standards specific to residential level of care • Contribute to policy creation and program compliance requirements • Collaborate with leadership on licensing and regulatory alignment Team Development & Culture • Mentor and develop clinical staff • Provide corrective guidance when documentation deficiencies occur • Promote accountability, structure, and professionalism • Support recruitment and on boarding of additional clinicians as organization scales Organizational Strategy • Collaborate directly with Executive Leadership • Assist in service line expansion and program innovation • Build scalable clinical systems to support long-term growth ⸻ 90-Day Performance Evaluation Criteria • Measurable improvement in documentation quality and timeliness • Structured supervision system implemented • Audit-readiness strengthened • Leadership effectiveness with clinical team • Contribution to residential program framework • Cultural alignment with Potter House mission and values Successful performance may result in transition into the role of: Chief Clinical Supervisor (Expanded authority over all clinical operations, supervision, compliance oversight, and residential programming.) ⸻ Compensation $85,000 – $120,000 annually, based on licensure, experience, and leadership capacity.
