Department: 02240 GCMG Neurology Administration: Corporate - Neurology Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 24 Schedule Details/Additional Information: 11A-11P Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 Where You Will Work: This position is fully remote, with a contingency plan to the closest Atrium facility with telestroke set up. We’re Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Candidates must have at least 5 years of RN experience, this position is not for new grads Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association Must have NIHSS certification Experience in critical care, emergency services, and/or care of acute stroke patients What You’ll Do: As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Telestroke RN works collaboratively with the medical team to coordinate appropriate care for acute stroke patients via virtual care About This Location: Remote position that cares for the acute stroke population in the Greater Charlotte Market.
