We are a trusted aerospace manufacturer seeking a Project Engineer to lead the development and launch of plastic fastening solutions for aircraft interiors - from initial customer requirements through production. This is a high-ownership role where your fingerprints are on the product from day one. Develop project plans, schedules, and technical deliverables — and drive them across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain without losing momentum.Be the Technical Face to Customers: Serve as the primary engineering contact throughout product development and production support. You'll attend design reviews, present solutions, and earn customer confidence every step of the way.Get Hands-On with Tooling & Injection Molding: Define mold tooling requirements, collaborate with toolmakers on design and validation, review mold flow analyses, and support process optimization and production qualification. This is not a desk-only role.Build & Maintain World-Class Documentation: Create detailed 3D CAD models, 2D engineering drawings, test plans, and compliance packages that meet rigorous aerospace standards and customer specifications.Solve Problems That Matter: Investigate and resolve manufacturing and quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery.RequiredBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering, or related field3+ years of engineering experience in product development and manufacturingHands-on experience with injection molded plastic componentsProficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent 3D CAD softwareAbility to create and interpret 2D drawings with GD&TExcellent written and verbal communicationPreferredAerospace industry experience, particularly aircraft interiors or cabin systemsKnowledge of AS9100 quality systems and aerospace certification requirementsExperience with thermoplastic material selection and mold flow analysisRoot cause analysis and corrective action experienceJobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
