Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Property Administrator with right of way knowledge and an active Notary Public registration to support property, easement, lease, and land records administration. This role will assist with document preparation, file management, stakeholder coordination, and transaction support related to property and right of way activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable handling confidential documents, and experienced in working with deeds, easements, legal descriptions, and related property records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize property files, leases, easements, permits, deeds, and right of way records
- Support right of way acquisition and administrative processes by tracking parcel status, documentation, and deadlines
- Prepare, review, route, and notarize property-related documents as needed
- Coordinate with land agents, attorneys, surveyors, title companies, project managers, and public agencies
- Review legal descriptions, plats, surveys, and title documents for completeness and accuracy
- Track renewals, expirations, obligations, and critical dates for leases, permits, and agreements
- Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and document management systems related to property and land activity
- Assist with invoice processing, purchase orders, reporting, and general administrative support
- Ensure records are current, complete, and compliant with company procedures and applicable regulations
- Respond to internal and external requests for property documentation and status updates
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in property administration, right of way administration, real estate support, or land records management
- Working knowledge of right of way processes, easements, leases, deeds, title work, and legal descriptions
- Active Notary Public commission required
- Strong document control, records management, and administrative support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with property management systems, GIS, or document management platforms is a plus
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and accuracy
