About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their team. The COO will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the non-retail business units, with a focus on driving operational excellence, and financial performance, and leading the company into its next chapter of success. This role requires a leader who can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution, and who is adept at shaping the future while remaining closely connected to day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will have total P&L responsibility, lead the food manufacturing team, and ensure the business operates within established risk and regulatory guidelines. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing business strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a minimum of 6 years' of senior executive leadership experience with P&L responsibility, and a background in food, food manufacturing, CPG, logistics, or related industries. The role demands excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and drive change. A Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates holding an MBA or Master's degree. The ideal candidate will be an innovative thinker, a strong problem solver, and have a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
