We are empowered to enact positive change.Your “Take Off” will be successful by doing the following with excellence:Pull, splice, and tape underground cablePerform preventive maintenance inspections of airfield electrical systemsCheck and repair all underground cabling/circuits regulators and transformersInstall all types of overhead and underground lighting circuitsBuild transformers, vaults and manholes; install and maintain security gates of the AOAPrepare simple reports of work done; interpret and draw schematicsPerform and record corrections to the FAA Part 139 field safety inspection formOperate equipment and assist with winter operations as neededUse electrical and electronic test equipment to identify electrical problemsCan be utilized for general electrical duties within Airfield MaintenanceYour “Landing” will be smooth if you meet th e following requirements:High school diploma or GEDTwo (2) years of electrical vocational training and two (2) years of electrical experience; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum five (5) years electrical experience in all phases of electrical work, installation, and troubleshootingExperience with 4000V minimumMust possess and maintain a valid Ohio driver license, in good standingMust obtain airfield-driving privileges prior to completion of probationPay Rate: $30.00/hour plus shift differentialAble to pass a pre-employment drug test, which includes testing for marijuana (medical marijuana cards are not acceptable)The Columbus Regional Airport Authority is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in hiring or terms and conditions of employment because of an individual’s race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, veteran status, disability, and all other groups or classes protected by applicable federal, state or local laws.
