About the Role:

Dr. Mae Sheikh Ali Endocrine Center in Jacksonville, FL is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our specialized medical team. Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group therapy to patients managing chronic endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid disease, and hormonal conditions

Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to deliver integrated, whole-patient care

Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and mental health support to patients and families

Connect patients with community resources, support groups, and social services

Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards

Participate in care coordination meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Requirements:

Active Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license required

Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program

Experience in a clinical, medical, or healthcare setting preferred

Strong knowledge of psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, and evidence-based therapy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team

Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
