We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Director to join our team at Alpine Care of St. Charles, a leading provider of skilled nursing/senior living services in St. Charles, IL. About the Role: As a Maintenance Director at Alpine Care of St. Charles, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of the facility, ensuring that it is clean, safe, and well-maintained for our residents and staff. You will work closely with department heads to identify and address maintenance needs. Your expertise will help us maintain a high level of quality and efficiency, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care and experience. Key Responsibilities: Ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks Develop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and develop corrective action plans Collaborate with department heads to prioritize maintenance requests and allocate resources effectively Develop and manage the maintenance budget to ensure efficient use of resources Stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in maintenance and repair to ensure our facilities remain modern and efficient Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in maintenance, engineering, or a related field preferred. Maintenance experience, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting. 1+ year of supervisory or management experience. Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry). Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (OSHA, CMS, state inspections). Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficient in Computer Literacy. Ability to work on-call or respond to emergencies as needed. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
