Lead regional maintenance excellence across communities

You'll work closely with our Regional Facilities Manager and Property Management leadership to maintain Conifer's high standards and make a meaningful impact across your assigned region. What You'll Bring as an Area Facilities Manager
You're strategic, hands-on, and ready to lead. You bring:
- 57 years of experience in multifamily or affordable housing maintenance or facilities management.
- 3+ years of leadership experience overseeing maintenance or technical teams.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
- Familiarity with HUD, REAC, NSPIRE, and LIHTC inspection standards.
- Project management and vendor coordination experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and CMMS systems.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel regularly within the region.
- High school diploma or GED required; degree or trade certifications (HVAC, EPA, OSHA, CAMT, IFMA/BOMA) preferred.

As an Area Facilities Manager, every day, you'll ensure our communities operate smoothly and safely:
- Champion operational excellence oversee daily maintenance operations across multiple affordable housing communities.
- Drive compliance ensure readiness for HUD, NSPIRE, REAC, and LIHTC inspections.
- Lead and mentor support site maintenance teams through training, coaching, and leadership development.
- Collaborate strategically work with Property Management, Regional Facilities, and Asset Management to align maintenance operations with budget, compliance, and capital goals.
- Enhance performance track KPIs, preventive maintenance, and unit turn performance to ensure continuous improvement.
- Promote safety champion OSHA standards and ensure consistent safety culture across all maintenance operations.
- Innovate and improve identify technologies and strategies that improve efficiency, sustainability, and asset longevity.

Work schedules may include Saturdays, based on property performance needs such as occupancy levels, leasing activity, and rent collections.
When required, weekend coverage will be scheduled on a rotating basis and aligned with business priorities.
Employees are expected to support leasing efforts, resident engagement, and rent collection activities during scheduled weekend hours.
