Zoning Administrator - Community Planner

Position Overview: Under general direction and supervision of the Director of Planning & Community Development, this position works independently to implement the City's development standards, including zoning, land development, preservation, and other regulations. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's degree supplemented by a minimum of three (3) years of experience in planning, zoning, building construction, engineering, geography, environmental studies, or another job-related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Zoning Administrator must have a working knowledge of zoning law or past experience as a Zoning Administrator with site plan and blueprint reading abilities. Flood Plain Manager Certifications preferred, or ability to obtain and maintain post hire as required or directed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and GIS with the ability to learn other software such as BS&A, Forerunner, etc. Valid SC Driver's License. #J-18808-Ljbffr City of Georgetown
