Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting is highly valued

• Ability to follow teacher direction and adapt to changing environments or student needs
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional support, reinforcing lesson content and classroom procedures
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance
• Help create a welcoming, inclusive, and safe classroom atmosphere
• Take direction on classroom management strategies, contributing to a productive learning environment
• Assist with documentation and record-keeping as necessary
• Support students with special needs by following individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting learning materials
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions
