Forklift Driver

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support warehouse and material handling operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is responsible for safely transporting oversized materials and long racking components throughout the facility while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and workplace safety. Ideal candidates will have experience handling large or oversized loads and demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move oversized materials, including racking up to 30 feet long
• Load, unload, transport, and stage materials within the warehouse and production areas
• Inspect forklifts and equipment daily to ensure safe operating conditions
• Maintain accurate inventory movement and material handling practices
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols
• Assist with organizing and maintaining a clean work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers as needed
• Support shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely; this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous forklift operating experience required
• Experience handling oversized or extended length loads strongly preferred
• Ability to safely maneuver long materials in tight spaces
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Customer service experience is a major plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Capable of lifting, bending, standing, and working in a physically active environment
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification

Employment Type & Compensation

• Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
• Compensation: $18.00 per hour
• Application Period: This position will remain open until filled

Work Schedule

• Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
