Our expert team recognizes the importance of innovation and is dedicated to demonstrating that smart planning leads to better outcomes for every project partner, while also having a positive impact on the built environment.We work to define each client's purpose and mission and then collaborate on innovative strategies to turn that vision into reality.We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team!About the Role:The successful Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a variety of duties, including but not limited to:Performing required maintenance and/or repairs to commercial and residential buildings (plumbing, carpentry, electrical, appliances, painting/drywall, HVAC, fire, and security systems).Ensuring timely and efficient completion of work orders, customer requests, emergency and preventative maintenanceTroubleshooting problems and work with vendors when necessaryCollaborating with Property Managers, Operations Manager, and other team membersInspecting buildings for adequate heating, lighting and ventilation, and are properly cleanedPerforming safety checks on fire life safety equipment, smoke and Co2 detectors, and emergency lightingPerforming Apartment turns which include dry wall repairs and paintingMaintaining and enforcing building code guidelines for maintenance, mechanical and electrical areas.Troubleshooting and repairing appliancesAccurately documenting all work performed in the work order system, including labor hours, materials used, photos, and completion notes.Qualifications & Experience:3 years or more of experience working in a Maintenance Technician role covering multi-use buildings with commercial and residential spacesKnowledgeable on safe performance practices regarding the use of tools and equipment required to complete assigned tasks.Familiarity with technology and software for work order management via computer and cell phoneProfessional communication skills and the ability to communicate with all stakeholdersAbility to work independentlyAbility to travel to multiple work locations throughout WNY during the workday and transport necessary equipment and toolsAbility to obtain a Government Security ClearanceAble to work a rotating on-call schedule – stipend providedCompensation Package:Montante Group offers a competitive total compensation package including:Competitive base wages, reviewed annually with bonus potentialMileage and annual work attire allowance.A comprehensive benefit package including medical insurance with employer contribution towards premium, medical opt out credit, employer paid life and long-term disability insurance!Voluntary Dental and Vision insuranceUp to 15 days of paid time off (PTO) in year one, increasing with years of service, and paid holidaysFinancial insurance protection options which include short- and long-term disability, accidental death & dismemberment insurance, critical illness and accident insurance, legal and identity theft options, and pet insurance401k Retirement Plan with employer matchTraining & Professional Development opportunitiesCommunity and Employee engagement events and initiatives
