Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Title Processing Clerk for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL. This role is ideal for a title professional with residential real estate or homebuilding title processing experience who enjoys working with documents, searches, commitments, policies, and closing-related requirements.

The Title Processing Clerk will support the title review and closing process by ordering title searches, reviewing documentation, tracking required items, identifying title issues, and helping ensure files are accurate and ready within required timelines. This position offers the opportunity to work in a professional real estate environment with structured processes, collaborative partners, and a team-focused approach to successful closings.

Candidates who are organized, accurate, deadline-driven, and comfortable working with title documentation, lender requests, surveys, estoppels, and policy issuance will be well positioned for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Order, review, and process title searches in accordance with company and local division procedures.
- Request, input, and update lender title requests, including revisions and title commitment issuance.
- Order and track surveys, estoppels, files, and downloaded title searches to support closing timelines.
- Examine title documentation and searches to verify ownership, legal descriptions, restrictions, liens, judgments, mortgages, easements, and other encumbrances.
- Identify title issues, outline required actions, and support the process of clearing title for home closings.
- Prepare, issue, audit, and maintain title commitments, title policies, prior policy requests, records, reports, and related file documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $20.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
