Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in Arizona (or ability to obtain)
• Prior experience working in a school environment strongly preferred
• Ability to design and implement IEPs and therapeutic interventions tailored to student needs
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students of varying abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ needs and present levels of function
• Develop and deliver therapy sessions individually or in group settings according to IEP goals
• Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and required documentation per district protocols
• Provide consultation and training to teachers and support staff to facilitate students’ access to the curriculum
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input on accommodations and modifications
• Engage families in the therapeutic process to support student success beyond the classroom
