Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide care and support for patients of all ages. You will play a crucial role in administering respiratory therapy treatment, managing ventilators, and ensuring quality care in a dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as per physician orders.
• Manage and monitor patients on ventilators and other respiratory support devices.
• Conduct blood gas analyses and EKGs as needed.
• Participate in patient weaning trials and demonstrate knowledge of oxygen therapy.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory issues.
• Document assessments and interventions in the electronic health record system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RRT or CRT certification in Texas.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
