An immediate part‑time opportunity awaits for a skilled and caring Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a student within a school setting in Long Valley, NJ. This contract role is ideal for nurses with a passion for pediatric care and school environments. Key Responsibilities Deliver individualized nursing care to a student on Mondays, providing continual support from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM Accompany and monitor the student’s health needs during transportation on the school bus and throughout the entire school day Perform assessments, administer prescribed medications, and respond promptly to any health concerns or emergencies Maintain accurate documentation of care, communication, interventions, and observations Coordinate with educators, school staff, the student’s family, and allied healthcare professionals to create a safe and nurturing learning environment Adhere to school protocols and healthcare regulations to ensure student well‑being Qualifications Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey Previous experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or direct 1:1 care is preferred Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and organizational abilities Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable to meet the individual needs of students This position provides a meaningful opportunity to make a difference every week while supporting a student’s health and educational journey.
