Senior Credit & Collections Specialist

Perform complex collection activities related to past due health insurance premiums and/or past due health insurance claims Follow established guidelines Contact groups to collect past due insurance premiums and/or past due health insurance claims Research the validity of past due and/or disputed debt Generate demand letters Prepare reports reflecting the status of credit and collection activities for management review Requirements H.S. diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of commercial debt collection experience Any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background Candidates must be within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s), unless an accommodation is granted as required by law New candidates in certain patient/member-facing roles must become vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza, unless an acceptable explanation is provided Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in debt collection processes, including the ability to perform complex collection activities, generate demand letters, and prepare detailed reports for management.
