Maintenance Technician IIThe YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is hiring a Maintenance Technician II at our Pearl Street Family YMCA location.As the Maintenance Technician II, you will be responsible for working independently on preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance for the building, building support systems, and membership program equipment. Demonstrated excellent skills and the ability to work independently and provide leadership with specific tasks.Vocational/Technical certifications preferred.An intermediate understanding of buildings and the operation and maintenance of building systems.Knowledge of safe and correct operation of the equipment, procedures, and techniques to perform the required tasks.Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment. Understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment. Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.Knowledge of pool maintenance and operation, safety regulations and possession of a pool operator's certification.
