The Medication Aide plays a vital role in supporting resident care by assisting with daily activities and safely administering medications in accordance with community policy and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as directed and document administration accurately, ensuring precise and timely care.
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to Wellness leadership, fostering a culture of proactive care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility support, promoting independence and dignity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure environment for medication carts, storage, and supplies, adhering to infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current medication administration certification/registration as required by state guidelines.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or related care setting preferred, with a strong attention to detail and reliability.
