Healthcare District Account Executive (Bay Area)

Job Description This position develops new or existing business relationships in the Small to Medium sized Business (SMB) market, driving revenue growth through strategic, customer-focused selling. The incumbent expands opportunities for all UPS Global Freight Forwarding products and services, coordinating customer meetings, and developing comprehensive logistics solutions for the UPS Enterprise. The role promotes internal business relationships, shares leads, and collaborates with C-level decision makers while training customers on technology platforms. Responsibilities Penetrate existing account base to better understand full supply chain, leading to new business opportunities and key decision maker relationships. Coordinate customer meetings with decision-makers to identify needs, determine areas of opportunity, and develop win‑business strategies. Identify churn areas and develop strategies for winning back business. Prospect and hunt for new business through published data, industry guides, referrals, and territory management. Target opportunities that start at $100,000 in total annual revenue. Engage customers to identify areas of need while creating value throughout the sales process. Facilitate customer entertainment to develop and solidify relationships with preferred customers. Collaborate with Operations to establish standard operating procedures for meeting customer expectations. Educate customers on technology solutions to provide independent tracking, pricing, and reporting capabilities. Apply sales strategies and knowledge acquired from training to identify UPS solutions to implement. Plan Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with customers to review business trends and UPS performance. Participate in joint customer calls with peers and counterparts to promote UPS products/services. Attend functional sales meetings to promote enterprise selling. Identify account decliners/gainers and develop strategies for growth and win–back. Use state‑of‑the‑art Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to develop strategic plans for customer growth and development. Preferences Demonstrated ability to conduct research and develop territory sales plans. Strong organization and strategic planning skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook). Basic Qualifications Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer. Three (3) years of experience in successful territory management. Three (3) years of sales experience, focused in freight forwarding or business‑to‑business/customer‑facing role. Bachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Business, Marketing, or related field. Additional Information for Internal Candidates Territory covers the San Francisco Bay Area. Pay Range $65,820.00 per year to $98,760.00 per year. The position is eligible for our sales incentive plan and annual management incentive plan, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.
