Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Peoria, IL on a travel assignment. This role involves working in an acute care setting with a focus on medical, surgical, neuro, and cardiovascular ICU patients. Nurses will benefit from a supportive environment with access to a 24/7 intensivist team, and the opportunity to utilize advanced respiratory therapy equipment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PICU

• Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with various medical and surgical needs
• Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and document patient information
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Recognize rhythm changes and perform associated interventions independently
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including intensivists, APPs, and residents

Requirements of the RN - PICU

• Active IL RN license or initiated application process
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PICU setting
