TruBlue Handyman Estimator Rate: $40-55/hr depending on experience Role: Residential and Commercial Estimator serving Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Carmel Valley, La Jolla, San Marcos, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Solana Beach, and surrounding areas TruBlue Home Service Ally is a national franchise with over 120 locations that provides trusted handyman repairs, home safety upgrades, and maintenance services to help seniors age in place and support busy families. With locations across the U.S., TruBlue is a leader in dependable, relationship-based home maintenance. This is a role for an experienced residential construction professional who knows how to connect with customers, understand their needs, accurately scope projects, and win the job. You’ll often be a prospective customer’s first face-to-face experience with TruBlue, so we’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable, personable, responsive, and confident. What You’ll Do: Respond to and actively pursue new customer leads Meet with homeowners to discuss repair, maintenance, and remodeling needs Build trust and create an excellent first impression of TruBlue Evaluate projects and develop clear, accurate scopes of work Estimate labor, materials, and other project costs Prepare and present professional estimates Explain recommendations and pricing clearly and confidently Follow up consistently with prospective customers and help turn estimates into booked jobs Identify potential challenges before work begins Communicate sold projects clearly to our operations team and technicians Help ensure that what we promise customers is exactly what our team can deliver Who You Are: Experienced in residential construction, remodeling, handyman services, estimating, or a related field Strong working knowledge of home repairs, materials, labor requirements, and project sequencing Comfortable walking into a home, evaluating a project, and confidently recommending solutions Excellent with people and able to build trust quickly Sales-minded and motivated to turn qualified leads into customers without using high-pressure tactics Organized, responsive, and committed to following up Strong communication and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with the ability to produce accurate estimates Professional, dependable, and committed to doing right by the customer and the company Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the U.S. What You’ll Get: Year-round, consistent opportunities Strong office and operations support Established leads and opportunities to help grow the business A team culture built on compassion, trust, and professionalism The opportunity to play a key role in building TruBlue Serving North County San Diego Room to grow as the company grows Why TruBlue: We’re a company with a purpose: to make homes safer and lives easier.
