Senior Staff Accountant
Green Key Resources
Well-established company looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This person will play an important role in the month-end close and financial reporting process while working closely with the broader finance team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage month-end and year-end close activities
- Prepare and review journal entries
- Perform monthly account reconciliations
- Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
- Handle accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and other accounting areas
- Research and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with budgeting and financial analysis
- Support annual audits and provide requested documentation
- Assist with AP/AR and other accounting functions as needed
- Identify process improvements and help strengthen accounting procedures
- Work closely with internal teams and management on accounting-related matters
- Assist with special projects as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–6+ years of accounting experience
