With two elementary Mental Health Specialist positions available, you’ll play a crucial role in providing direct social-emotional support and helping implement positive behavior initiatives. This is a client known for a swift interview and offer process for exceptional candidates—your expertise will be valued and recognized!

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s (required—no exceptions) and valid Michigan LARA license
• One of the following: licensed or limited licensed master’s social worker/school social worker, psychologist, marriage and family therapist, professional counselor, or appropriate school counselor credentials as outlined by Michigan requirements
• Experience supporting general education students individually and in groups preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver social-emotional support for elementary students (individual/group)
• Provide additional supports across classrooms/buildings as needed
• Lead and participate in professional learning and support positive behavior programs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster a healthy school environment
