TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Greensboro, NC | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend | Must work 2 out of 4 holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a primarily Medical Surgical population, including observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, palliative, end-of-life, and hospice patients
• Care for psychiatric observation patients, diabetic patients (including newly diagnosed and those with complications), surgical patients, and surgical observation cases
• Document and manage patient records using EPIC EMR
• Pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed); unit is tele-capable and EKG competency is required of all RNs
• Float to other system campuses as needed based on staffing requirements
• Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable; average 2–4 hours; completed during orientation)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background cases permitted
• Current driver's license required to verify address
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
