Job Description

• Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and craft tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their personal goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve motor skills, cognition, and activities of daily living for patients
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic, multidisciplinary care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide essential instruction to patients and their caregivers on therapy processes to facilitate continued progress at home
• Assess Progress and Adjust Treatment: Monitor clinical progress and adapt therapy methods as necessary to keep patients on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Support for ongoing education and professional certification is encouraged

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
