About The Role CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Architect to join our expanding Security Architecture and Engineering team within the Information Security department. The Cloud Security Architect is responsible for supporting the design and configuration of cloud‑based information systems in alignment with CrowdStrike's security standards and requirements. This role involves reviewing and improving the security posture, participating in architecture reviews, offering technical guidance to minimize security risks, and overseeing the execution of cybersecurity initiatives. As a Cloud Security Architect, you will function in a cross‑functional role, collaborating with other teams and serving as a subject matter expert while adhering to industry‑best security practices. What You'll Do Lead the planning, implementation, documentation, and testing of security systems. Develop security standards, policies, and procedures. Partner with business units to understand technology needs and integrate security across various business use cases. Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and needs; research information security standards; plan and collaborate with team members in conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments. Prepare security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. Maintain relevant job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards; participate in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations. Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing tasks; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Assist with ad‑hoc operational tasks as required. What You'll Need Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools. API security. Orchestration and Automation – Scripting, Infrastructure‑as‑code, CI/CD and rapid prototyping. Threat modeling/secure cloud system design. Bonus Points Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related technology field. AWS Certified Solutions Architect / AWS Certified Security – Specialty.
