Responsibilities Maintains a positive attitude to ensure a good relationship with team members and other departments. Ensures that guest rooms are well maintained and in proper repair. Maintains cleanliness of rooms, hallways, linen closets, equipment through daily inspections. Solve guest complaints in a timely / efficient manner. Assist in developing and maintaining of Housekeeping department operation procedures to ensure effective execution of work. Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management. Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter. Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner. Perform all job duties with minimum supervision. Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job may or may not have supervisory responsibilities. Manages work procedures and expedites workflow. Provides coaching and counseling to team members Requirements Previous experience in horse racing, pari-mutuel wagering, casino gaming, sportsbook, or guest services. Knowledge of Thoroughbred and/or Quarter Horse racing. Familiarity with racing programs, wagering machines, betting terminals, and/or simulcast wagering. Experience working in a high-volume customer-facing environment. CORE COMPETENCIES Customer Service: Creates a positive and welcoming experience for every guest. Attention to Detail: Accurately communicates wagering and racing information while following all applicable policies and regulations. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to work throughout the property and move between Bet Central and remote wagering locations.
