Commercial Roofing Service ManagerWe're partnering with a growing commercial construction company in the Fargo area to hire a full-time Commercial Roofing Service Manager. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who knows commercial roofing, understands service work, and is ready to take ownership of a department with strong growth potential. In this role, you'll lead service operations, manage crews, support customers, and help build a reliable, profitable service department focused on quality workmanship, fast response times, and long-term client relationships.What You'll be Doing:Lead day-to-day service operations for commercial roofing repair, maintenance, inspections, warranty work, and small reroof projectsServe as the primary contact for building owners, property managers, facility managers, and service customersSchedule crews, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to keep work moving efficientlyVisit job sites to inspect roof issues, diagnose leaks, and recommend practical repair solutionsPrepare estimates, proposals, scopes of work, and maintenance agreementsEnsure jobs are completed safely, on time, within scope, and to quality standardsTrack service performance, including response time, backlog, labor efficiency, job costs, and marginsLead, train, and support service technicians and crewsImprove service processes, documentation, reporting, and job trackingCollaborate with operations, sales, and accounting to support billing, profitability, and customer satisfactionWho We're Looking For:5+ years of experience in commercial roofing, sheet metal, building envelope, or related construction servicesPrevious experience managing service work, field crews, or repair operationsStrong understanding of commercial roofing systems, leak diagnostics, repairs, and maintenanceAbility to read plans, specifications, work orders, and service documentationConfident communicator who can work professionally with customers, crews, vendors, and internal teamsOrganized, proactive leader who can manage schedules, priorities, and moving partsFinancial awareness with an understanding of job costing, labor efficiency, and profitabilityValid driver's license and ability to travel locally for site visits and customer needsWhat Our Client Offers:Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year DOEFull-time Monday - Friday scheduleHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time offEmployee Assistance ProgramHSA/FSA optionsReferral program and employee discountsOpportunity to lead and grow a key department within a stable construction organizationTeam culture built around quality, accountability, communication, and problem-solving
