Experienced Lane Closure Specialist

As a Lane Closure Specialist, you will perform lane closures on state highways and other roadways, redirecting traffic for workers or survey crews, and working independently or as part of a traffic control crew.

Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining safe work zones using the proper equipment, ensuring the safety of assigned traffic control projects by setting up and taking down lane closures, collaborating with team members to ensure the safety of all, managing traffic flow effectively with stop/slow paddles, and delivering exceptional service and protection to our clients. The employee must be able to successfully handle the physical demands of this position, which include varying hours mainly night shift, frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, exposure to extreme conditions at job sites including high noise levels, working in outside conditions that include inclement weather, lifting or carrying objects up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods of time, and performing strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. This position requires good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination. An active North Carolina issued driver's license is required.
