Randstad is partnering with a leading Fortune 150 energy provider —one of the largest energy holding companies in the U.S.—to add three experienced Sourcing Specialist II professionals to their team! Position: Sourcing Specialist II Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite) Duration: 1-Year Contract Pay Rate: Up to $46.67/hr In this role, you will lead high-value sourcing strategies, drive supplier negotiations, and manage complex categories supporting the Regulated and Renewables Energy (RRE) business unit. Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sourcing strategies, handle RFQs/RFPs, and manage Alliance & Master Service Agreements. Negotiation & Cost Savings: Partner with senior supplier management to drive cost avoidance, process efficiencies, and favorable contract terms. Relationship & Contract Management: Manage supplier relationships, dispute resolutions, price changes, and invoice management. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside project managers to support equipment bid events, outages, and capital projects. What We’re Looking For Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree + 5–10 years of related work experience in Supply Chain. Ability to travel occasionally (overnight/plant visits; reimbursed travel expenses). Preferred & Desired Qualifications Experience in major utilities supporting power plants, outages, or capital projects. Demonstrated expertise sourcing labor/services, materials, and engineered power plant equipment. Strong contract negotiation and financial analysis skills. Familiarity with e-Sourcing tools (e.g., PowerAdvocate ) and ERP systems (e.g., CAS, Maximo ). CPM or CPSM certification is a plus!
