Payroll Assistant/Clerk - ADP

Nonprofit Organization is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant/Clerk to support the Payroll Manager in processing payroll for approximately 1,000 employees. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with ADP experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Role: Contract To Hire Role Location: Los Angeles, CA 90013 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote; schedule to be determined during the interview process) Software: ADP required Parking: Provided Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities Assist with the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll through ADP Work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure payroll data is entered and reviewed correctly Verify employee timecards, earnings, deductions, and adjustments Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll inquiries Maintain payroll records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance Assist with payroll audits, reporting, and related administrative tasks Support payroll-related documentation, data entry, and recordkeeping Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure payroll accuracy Qualifications Previous payroll experience required Hands‑on experience with ADP Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills Experience working in a high‑volume payroll environment Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans The Know Your Rights poster is available here: The pay transparency policy is available here: AppleOne participates in the E-Verify program in certain locations as required by law.
