The role includes designing, implementing, and managing the application frontend framework and technologies, focusing on building modular, loosely coupled components that integrate with backend microservices. The developer will work closely with the team to create reusable UI components, optimize UI performance, and ensure accessibility. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. Experience: 10+ years of related experience. Technical skills required: Demonstrated hands‑on experience programming web and client/server applications using Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Demonstrated hands‑on experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA. Experience upgrading Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA from older to newer versions. Experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular. Experience with database design and querying (SQL, Oracle). Experience with version control such as Git (GitHub, GitLab, etc.). Experience building APIs and services using REST. Experience working in Agile development environment. Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph. Desired experience with: Experience with Linux‑based or Windows‑based systems and shell scripting. Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms. Experience with build automation technologies like Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, etc. Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Cypress). Location: Chantilly, VA – On Customer Site.
