(Freezer/Cold Storage Order Selector)

Resumen del Puesto: Como selector de pedidos, usted será responsable de preparar los pedidos de los clientes de manera precisa, segura y eficiente trabajando dentro de instalaciones de almacenamiento en frío (refrigeradores o congeladores). Utilizará equipo motorizado y sistemas de voz para armar cargas de productos para nuestras tiendas. Responsabilidades Principales Selección de pedidos: Utilizar sistemas de comandos por voz o etiquetas de selección para recolectar los productos correctos según el código y las cantidades indicadas. Operación de equipos: Operar transpaletas eléctricas (electric pallet jacks) y montacargas para transportar y organizar mercancía. Armado de palés: Apilar los productos de manera segura, estable y ordenada para formar los palés, cumpliendo con las pautas de altura y seguridad. Embalaje y etiquetado: Envolver los palés terminados con plástico (shrink-wrap) y etiquetarlos correctamente para su envío. Entorno de trabajo en frío: Trabajar en temperaturas controladas que van desde congeladores a −10°F hasta almacenes refrigerados, tolerando el frío extremo por periodos prolongados. Control de calidad e inventario: Verificar cantidades, reportar artículos dañados o faltantes y mantener la exactitud del inventario. Seguridad y limpieza: Mantener el área de trabajo limpia, barrida y libre de obstrucciones, siguiendo todos los protocolos y códigos de seguridad (OSHA). Requisitos y Cualificaciones Condición física: Capacidad para levantar pesos de hasta 50 lbs (22 kg) de forma regular. Tolerancia al frío: Capacidad comprobada para trabajar en temperaturas bajo cero o ambientes fríos (se proporciona equipo de protección para el frío). Experiencia: Experiencia previa operando pallets jacks eléctricos o montacargas (deseable). Atención al detalle: Habilidad para leer y hacer coincidir números o letras con precisión. Disponibilidad: Capacidad para trabajar turnos flexibles (noches, fines de semana u horas extras según las necesidades de la temporada).
