Food and Beverage Supervisor
Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa
Our guests can enjoy a casual meal in Tarpon House Restaurant or Courtside Steakhouse, have drinks and tapas either in Charley's Cabana Bar or Cove Pool Bar/Restaurant, or have a romantic sunset cruise in our Sanibel Harbour Princess Yacht. The resort also has over 35000 sq ft of flexible meeting and event space as well as a Palm Court Coffee Shop a large gift shop. What you will be doing: Supervision of staff- train, schedule and meet the needs of the daily tasks. Ensures the associates have the tools needed to perform their job. Actively communicates with the back of the house for smooth operation of the restaurant. Reports any safety or health concerns. Assists guests with questions, concerns or needs. Assist with any area of the restaurant as needed. Requirements: What we are looking for: Strong communication skills verbal and written. High work ethic and self-initiative. Ability to effectively supervise associates. May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. Ability to maintain excellent relationships with staff and maintain staff and guest confidentiality at all times.
